  11. Any info would be greatly appreicated.  I have a USR Sportster 28.8
  12. Faxmoodem w/voicemail.  The software I am using is QuickLink Message
  13. Center, which came with the modem.  Most of the time, QuickLink will
  14. not answer the incoming calls.  Some times it does, but most of the
  15. time, it wont.  Sometimes I will get RING on my screen, and even then
  16. the call isn't always answered.  
  17. My init string is AT&F&A3&B1&H1&R2&D2&C1X4S0=0S7=90   This is the
  18. default, and I realize that S0=0 tells the modem not to answer
  19. incoming calls.  When I change the S0=0 to S0=2 , or 1 , or anything,
  20. I get the msg that the software will not work properly if S0 does not
  21. equal 0.  
  22. I have contacted USR through e-mail and they have told me that i have
  23. an irq conflict.  I have changed and changed my com/irq connections,
  24. still getting the same result.  This is the first time I have had this
  25. problem with installing a USR Sportster, and think it might be my init
  26. string, or the software.  If anyone can help me, please feel free to
